Rainbows Program
Providence Hospice is aware that when something significant happens in a family, the effects are felt by the children and teens, as well as the parents. In providing help to these children and teens, Providence Hospice is pleased to offer, at no charge, a place where children and teens from kindergarten to twelfth grade can come for caring support. Rainbows is an international program devoted to providing a bridge to emotional healing for various kinds of losses in life faced by children and teens.
If you know f any child or teen who would benefit from the Rainbows program, then please have the child or teen's parent call Dione Jackson or Martin Pritchett at Providence Hospice. We would be glad to give them additional information and enroll them in a group. Support Groups will be offered in the Fall and Spring each year for a six week period each. If you would like additional brochures / posters or information about Rainbows, then please feel free to contact us as well. We also offer a community crisis program called Silver Linings - six session program - to address various crises in schools and other organizations.
