Pain Management. Pain if often a source of great anxiety and discomfort for patients and their loved ones. Providence Hospice offers support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to prevent breakthrough pain or unnecessary and uncomfortable trips to the Emergency Room with:
- Regular Nurse Visits
- Telephone Triage Support
- Inpatient Care
- Nurse Dispatch
- Home Emergency Kits
- Continuous Crisis Care
Emotional and Spiritual Guidance. Hospice trained Social Workers will work with the patient and their family to pursue options for current care and planning for future occurrences. Chaplains are available to offer guidance and a listening ear to patients and families.
Financial Considerations. Medication and equipment costs can become overwhelming. Most are surprised and relieved to learn that Hospice services are available with little to no out-of-pocket cost to the patient through Medicare, Medicaid, and most major Insurance Plans.
